Marrakech/Ouarzazate: 2 days in the desert with camel, 4×4 and meals

Departing Marrakech at 7:00 AM, we’ll head towards Ouarzazate, covering roughly 200 km through the stunning Atlas Mountains, where you’ll encounter breathtaking landscapes and authentic Berber villages.
Our first major stop will be the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a 16th-century fortified village and UNESCO World Heritage site. This historic site has served as the backdrop for numerous films, including (Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy, Prince of Persia, and even Game of Thrones. After exploring the fortress, we’ll continue to Ouarzazate, the cinematic capital of Africa, for lunch.
Following lunch, we’ll drive towards Agdz and Zagora, passing through the picturesque Draa Valley, renowned for its palm tree oasis. In Zagora, you’ll disembark from the van and embark on a camel ride to a nomad camp as the sun sets. The camel ride lasts about an hour.
Upon arrival at the camp, you’ll be greeted by the nomads with traditional mint tea, and then enjoy a delicious dinner. The evening will be spent around the campfire, where you’ll experience traditional music under a starry sky. You’ll spend the night in authentic nomad tents.

We wake you up in plenty of time to see the beautiful sunrise over the dunes. We breakfast at the camp before returning by camel to the van. On the way back to Marrakech we will stop to visit the Draa Valley, (the oasis of palm trees) and later we have lunch in the Atlas Mountains. We arrive back in Marrakech for around 18.00.
